The ARTiculate Gallery is a unique and accessible downtown nonprofit gallery providing creative environments, opportunities, and experiences connecting VSA Washington DC ARTists, established artists, and aspiring artists, with the DC metro arts community.
We also open our doors to many other organizations and artists during the course of the year. This keeps the gallery fresh to what’s happening in the local DC art scene. Located only a few blocks from the 14th Street galleries. The gallery has vibrant pieces that are not only beautiful, but stand for the talent found in youth with special needs. Each pieces is a little part of an ARTist Apprentices who is using art to communicate how they see the world. Arts as a means of educating is innovative on its own, however what’s even more innovative is the way VSA Washington DC uses art as a tool to transition these young people from school to community.
The ARTiculate Gallery is open to the public Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm or by appointment.
